After a little consideration

I do use the blog as a record of things. I generally allude to the ‘more personal’ things, such as ‘the first kiss’ by some obscure means (you’ll have to hunt the archives for that one!) but as I’ve written about contraception briefly before, it’s probably fair to mention that I’m now on the pill. Theoretically I started three days ago, but the first two were the fake-tablets so this evening marks the initial intake of the actual stuff.

I guess I’m telling you incase I go off my rocker…

    He he..ana you’re funny!
Bec you continue to surprise me with your posts.
Being your friend in the actual real world (AND a bridesmaid – so there)and reading this little blog of yours, so extremely rarely it barely rates a mention – i find it bizarre the personal stuff you whack on the net. so even though you’re a bit ….weird, I still love you.
PS: I keep getting facebook requests from random people from my past…ahhhhh!!!!! bec what have you done! (note for others: bec made me a facebook last week).

I’m not sure whether you’re serious about the ‘off your rocker’ stuff, but *I* am!! I’ve tried quite a few types of pill, and bar the one I’m presently on (and this was going to be the last one I ever tried!), they have made me loopy…as in, ridiculously teary, slightly paranoid and chronically insecure. Not great when you’re getting close to a wedding!!

So, on a serious note, it might be worth keeping track of your moods. And listen to the people close to you – it’s usually hard for me to tell what’s “real” and what’s (probably) “the pill”, so having my mother or husband tell me that I need to stop taking them has been particularly helpful!!

  4. Maybe it’s made you nicer than usual. 😛

You can’t quite see the door from the lounge room, so this evening I came home from work, opened my front door and stepped inside, hearing a “Hello!” from the Bectrovert that was, let’s say, a little more enthusiastic or even melodic, than the greetings that I usually get.

I rounded the corner into the loungeroom to see my pill popping little friend wearing a dress on a Monday afternoon, all girly and smiley, with eyes a-twinkling and obviously not quite expecting to see me, because she was already mid-stride towards me, hoping to get a snuggle from the other guy who lives here.

Watching her face change as if to say “Oh… it’s just you.” was absolutely priceless.
