I broke my nice new glasses the other day.
I was just bending them ever so slightly inwards as I’ve had trouble with them widening and then falling off. SNAP! Goodbye to the frame. Hello to replacement. I’ll be crossing my fingers for a week and a half to see if they’ll charge me or not.
Sad days.
I’m back to contacts and old glasses. The contacts are great. The old glasses suck.

oh the joys of broken glasses. i now always have a apare pair.
I’ve gone to “daily” contacts now. They’re great. No solution. Just fish them out of the pack in the morning and put them in. Throw them in the bin at the end of the day.
They don’t need to be as durable because they don’t get handled or rubbed much, so they are actually thinner. As a result I find them heaps more comfortable. They are a bit more expensive though.
