Makeesha meme’d me.

1. Write down five things that you’re thankful for.
2. Tag five friends who you’d like to see participate in this meme.
3. (Optional) Include a link to this post and encourage others to place a link to their completed meme in the comments section of this post so we can keep track of the thankfulness running around the blogosphere.

I’m thankful for
1. Matt stepping in to take Geoff and I through pre-marriage counselling (Prepare)
2. The crazy weather allowing me to wear skirts and shorts and feel warm (although this morning it seems to have gone cold again)
3. Holidays and the  fact that I can sleep in because I’ve needed it
4. Geoff and the fact that I get to marry my best friend in 40 something days
5. All the ways that God has orchestrated this wedding planning crap and all amazing offers from those we know and great prices and ways that it’s worked out.

I’m going to tag:

Sam, Paul, Rodney, Matt, Anna

apologies in advance to the meme haters.

and this reminds me, pumpkin pie must be on the agenda in the next few days.

Meme

hensinvite.jpgJess you asked for more wedding stuff… well, here’s the invite to my hens afternoon/night, cheers to the girls for making them so cute. We’re going out for fancy afternoon tea at Chateau Yerring and then back to Jess (bridesmaid’s) house for fun and sleepover etc. I can’t wait! There’s also a bridal shower or something so we can include the slightly older generation, who knows, I’m not organising it!

Wedding

terrys-1-hero.jpgIf you’ve never had the experience of eating a Terry’s Chocolate Orange. It is time you do something about that. There’s nothing quite like it. Maybe I have a sentimental tie to them – as it was the first present Geoff gave me, but really, they taste fantastic. I don’t get them very often as they’re fairly expensive, at about $8AUD but when I do I never regret it and you wont either.

Cooking Life

I’ve starred a mass of 61 posts this time – so they might not all make it up here. I have a funny feeling quite a few of them are design related i.e. I’ve gone ‘oooh that’s nice/inspirational’, I will warn accordingly. Some may have also been linked to specificially throughout the month, this is basically me clearing out my ‘google reader starred posts yet again’ – all for the record.

remedy.jpgI bought a copy of Remedy by David Crowder Band the other day, and I am very happy – it’s a fraction different than some of the rest, easier flowing, more rock and even slightly electronic although who knows, I’m not fantastic at judging musical genres. Perhaps not lyrically as strong, but I’m really enjoying it. Sometimes simplicity, lyrically is what you need, on the whole it’s for want of a better word, uplifting. David Crowder band retain their position as my favourite Christian music artist. The CD is worth owning although I think that Illuminate still wins the prize.
