You have to remember, not everyone is going to want to do honours.
But that isn’t many places for so many students anyway.

The blueboat site is interesting…and has some nice features, like the photo coming into focus as you move to the link.
But whats with the text on white borders? yikes! No clear structure, ..yeeeach…. But then, maybe I am getting old! 🙂
The blog promises it will be there in August…its now almost october…..

Spoken like a true Freo supporter – always hoping to get September over and done with as soon as possible.

Whereas for us Tigers people, we relish the chance of watching football without Richmond losing!

  4. gosh, lay off the football will you! 😛

Text on White borders Mark? or boxes?

Yes the hierarchy is a little interesting, but then it looks like it is driven by the image focus points? Interesting approach.

  6. True true Sam, and the IP people probably wont or can’t do the Design Centre thing anyway.
Not 100% if I want to do honors yet, just exploring possibilities…

I did forget to mention that they offer places to non Swinburnian grads as well… so even tougher perhaps.

    Geoff..cough cough….re Richmond and September….

My own view is that all the text used there, with the boxes looks unprofessional.
and the links looked like they were thrown on the page. I can see what they are trying to do…I think…make the image drive the menu…but I dont think it works…function over form.
    whereas this site….

    is just perfectly awesome! 🙂
