Paul you wet blanket!!!
Would ya let Bec enjoy the whole wedding prep experience!
I’ve met that many brides-to-be who get all stressed about the wedding organisations, when you really shouldn’t. The whole shebang should just be so much fun!
And therefore, when you’re having fun it does seem only natural to want to share it with the whole blog reading world.
If my opinion means anything Bec, I’m going to say that I love hearing all about this wedding stuff. So Paulio can be bored, because I feel highly entertained….and in my own self-absorbed way, thats all that matters 😛
To be fair, in the same conversation, I also said something along the lines of the following:
(after the 4th or 5th mention of the wedding dress)
“I’m really trying to care. I’m happy for you because you’re happy.”
Now don’t get me wrong, I had the biggest smile on my face when I got the “engaged” SMS. I’m just a boy. And it’s a dress. And I haven’t seen it. I’m sure she’ll look beyond lovely on her wedding day. I’ll have my big smile going then as well. But it’s a dress. I just can’t get that excited about it. Sorry.
I also suggested to Bec that she enjoy the moments. You only ever buy one wedding dress, so it’s a special moment worth remembering for Bec, her mum, her sisters and all the other girls that hang around her.
Now someone please post something mildly reflective, introspective and/or theological before I have to start reading things written by americans!
[…] haven’t disappeared and am tempted to not post due to Paul’s rude demands, however I am bogged down in homework and so am “not allowed” to do anything until it […]
