I was going to share my breakfast yesterday but I got side tracked.
It was a good breakfast. The tea was right, the scrambled eggs weren’t dry and the bacon was a rare extra.
The morning light reminded me of something I thought about/wrote about two years ago. I can’t find the blog post now but it was something to do with brightness showing up the cracks – the flaws and that being a little like how God sees us. Not in emphasis of the imperfections, but he sees us in our completeness – or our incompleteness as it may be.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
