Sacred Romance?

I was entirely impressed.

I am sick of the superficial ‘Jesus is my boyfriend’ business.
I have never really ‘gotten’ the Jesus as a lover aspect.

I am currently reading The Sacred Romance of which I think treats it fairly well, however too many people take things far too literally.

Knowing God is important, moving towards this is right.

The Bible is not a love letter.

maybe it’s the difference between sacred romance and sacred infatuation…
