This won’t be relevant to maybe 90% of you, but for my work’s web-site I’m after a post notification plugin i.e. you can subscribe and get sent an email each time there is a post.

I’ve tried two wordpress plugins: subscribe2 and postnotification and I can get neither to send the emails properly (or even at all).

RSS is all very well but you can’t necessarily send it via email, can you?

If you know of anything, or a work around I would greatly appreciate it.

stars.jpgDue to her resplendent kindness (hehe) I’m going to share that my friend Jess has recently started blogging.

This is not her first endeavor – the last you might remember was Exchange Me, which very well would have gone ahead except for the fact that she wound up not going on exchange and so couldn’t write about it. The good thing was that she was around to be a bridesmaid! She was also ‘the one’ who shared a stack of wedding photos on here while Geoff and I were away. And made that video of our friends altering our house. She is also doing the post-production on our wedding video.

Jess is a film/media student and works at a cinema. She talks about movies more than anyone I know and is a wealth of knowledge about actors, cinematography and who knows what – infact I think she’s probably got IMDB memorised. The quality of my movie watching has increased tenfold. Potentially because I see five times the numbers of movies than I normally would because of Jess.

If you’re still here and haven’t been sidetracked by any of the other links above, her new blog is called: Gold Stars and is (surprise, surprise) a movie review site with a few other ‘film related’ thoughts thrown in. It’s new. She’s got a bit of image settling still to get done but I suggest you keep an eye on it and discuss away after all, who doesn’t like movies besides my mum!

I’ve spent a good bit of the day butchering a wordpress template and have come up with a ‘new look’. I’m sorry if you were partial to the old one, it was getting a bit crowded and it is a new year and time for a change. I’m quite happy with the outcome! I think I’ll still be playing with the sidebar and potentially offloading links to pages but that will come. Suggestions are welcome and if you find any bugs/issues please let me know.

What do you think?

Bec and Geoff are married

Hello. A two week hiatus is about the longest All Said and Done has ever seen. I did forget to wish myself/blog a happy 3rd birthday on December the 12th. So happy 3 years.

My mind can now muse wedding without being at all stressfully consumed. It is a strange thing, there is a whole side of my brain that has returned cleanspun. I have yet to wade through every single photo (Although I’m giving it a good shot – hurry up people if you haven’t posted them yet!) and present unwrapping will happen tonight.

We arrived back late last night… a good four hours later than intended as our car blew up on the way home. This was really the most major drama, bar the Spamalot tickets that were booked for the wrong date but that turned our stupendously and ended happily with far better seats than we started with. The car is probably very very dead and is sitting in a little town four hours away. Thanks to kind friends and parents we did arrive home, but somewhat more tired than you should be after a two week honeymoon.

As details are treacherous, especially when talking about your honeymoon, I shall outline the weeks away in a series of links. Where and what: the stay, entertainment and food highlights. No you’ll never know the whole story even if you tap into my brain, I’ve probably sub foldered everything. It’s safer you know.

After all that. I am very, very happy to be Mrs. Matheson and it sure is nice to be home.
