Hearty hearty beat faster.

This is very peculiar indeed.

I am not sure if I am simply intrigued and delighted or appalled. The only thing I really know is that this is entrepreneurial and conceptual and that the addition of the two appears to be gloriously dangerous and just a little bit despicable.

Culture

I was going to post up my essay on Design and Environmental Sustainability but Geoff advises me that I wait until AFTER it has been marked. So I shall.

Meanwhile, I’ll leave you with the Gaia approach,

“Everything is connected to everything else”

How does this inform your living decisions then?!

Culture Design

The process of turning twenty two has finally dragged itself to a slow halt. The Friday saw us at the Suburban, a sweet local bar (My first visit) and I’ll probably return. Last night was complete with ‘cook your own dinner‘ on the at the Matheson household and lively game of Settlers.

Saturday was a trip into the city and the comedy festival to see Good News Week (Showing on tv Monday night), so we had a good laugh and got to immerse ourselves the the psuedo true applause of television filming.

Last night I also made it to the footy and like every game I go in to see, the Tigers got thrashed.

Post of non-this-is-the-day coming soon.

General

I have a current penchant for Goldies Fruit Loaf. I seriously love the stuff. It makes great toast. Our local IGA stocks it. Goldies don’t really seem to have a proper web presence… but then perhaps it’s asking a bit much for your food to follow you around online. If you see it, you should try some though. It almost beats the good old Tip-Top Raisin Bread – although not on price.

Some day I’m going to crank out the breadmaker that we have stuffed in the back of the cupboard – I don’t think it really suits our lifestyle (cop out!). Geoff’s parents – before I knew them ran a bread making shop, selling the supplies as a change from teaching, so I’d best go talk to them.

Here’s where I confess that one of my favourite things in going to the football with the Matheson family is the hotdog rolls (homeade) that they take along, with the dogs in the thermos. Oh so good.

Well there it is, the first and probably last post on bread ever.

Cooking

I like you all, so I think I might tell you that today is my birthday (I did already anyway in the previous post).

Farewell oh 21, today is 22 and I’m finally sounding a tiny bit older.

(And Geoff gave me some nice presents)
